John Bizyk, age 90, of 2425 Warriors Path, passed away at his residence on Sunday, June 26, 2016. A graveside service to celebrate and honor John's life will be held Thursday, June 30, 2016, at 10 a.m. at the Committal Shelter at M. J. "Dolly" Cooper Veteran's Cemetery with Father Marek Sotek officiating. The family will receive friends at The McDougald Funeral Home on Wednesday, June 29, 2016, from 6 p.m. until 8 p.m. Born on January 9, 1926, in Mead Township, OH, he was the son of the late Sam Bizyk and the late Rozala Krawazyk Bizyk. Following graduation from high school, Mr. Bizyk proudly served his country in the US Navy during WW II. He was employed for many years in the steel industry in Ohio prior to moving to Anderson. John was a member of St. Mary's Catholic Church in Warren, OH. Survivors include his beloved wife of thirty-six years, Ada Pettay Bizyk of the home; three sons, Martin J. Boyd (Becky) of Orlando, FL, Thomas A. Boyd (Candy) of Largo, FL, and Ted K. Boyd (Sheila) of Anderson; two daughters, Candace I. Dearing (Roger) of Bradenton, FL and Susan Sparrow of Orlando, FL; also surviving are thirteen grandchildren, eleven great-grandchildren and one great-great grandchild. In addition to his parents, Mr. Bizyk was preceded in death by two sisters, Ann Warren and Catherine Shaker; and one brother, Steve Bizyk.
