John David Callaham, age 63, of Anderson, SC, passed away Tuesday, April 13, 2021, at AnMed Health Medical Center. Born May 31, 1957 in Anderson, he was the son of the late Allen Callaham and Sara C. Barnette. David formerly worked in the metal fabrication industry and was a member of West Anderson Church of God. He loved his family and spending time with his grandboys was his greatest joy. He is survived by his son, David Lee Callaham (Kelli); brothers, Steve Callaham (Joy) and Eddie Callaham; sisters, Cathy Mundy (Rodger) and Elaine Nash (Marcus); step-sister, Tonya Sosebee (Ronnie); special uncle, Randy Callaham; and grandsons, Trevor Lee and Tyler David Callaham. In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by a brother, Mike Callaham. The family will receive friends Friday, April 16, 2021, from noon to 1:30 pm at The McDougald Funeral Home. The funeral service will follow in the Chapel at 2:00 pm with Rev. Mark Daniel and Rev. Dale Dyar officiating. Burial will follow at Oaklawn Memorial Gardens. Flowers will be accepted and memorial contributions may be made to the American Heart Association, 156 Milestone Way, Suite A, Greenville, SC 29615.
