HAROLD ESTES May 31, 1915 - January 26, 2006IVA, SCMr. John Harold Estes, age 90 of 46 Waterford Point, Iva, SC and formerly of 304 Camellia Drive, Anderson, SC, died Thursday, January 26, 2006 at the AnMed Health Medical Center in Anderson, SC.Born in Greenville, SC on May 31, 1915, Mr. Estes was a son of the late William Harold Estes and Nannie Bagwell Estes. He was retired from Starr Mill. He was a member of Iva Pentecostal Holiness Church and a former member of Orrville Pentecostal Holiness Church.He is survived of his wife, Lelia Maylone Greene Estes of Ellenburg Nursing Home; a son, John H. Estes, Jr., of Iva, SC; a brother, Robert Estes of Louisville, KY; seven grandchildren; twenty three great-grandchildren and nine great-great-grandchildren. In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by six brothers and five sisters.The Funeral Service will be held on Saturday, January 28, 2006 at 3:30 pm in the Chapel of The McDougald Funeral Home officiated by the Reverends Billy Pinson and Walter Monroe. Interment will follow in Oaklawn Memorial Gardens in Anderson.The family will receive friends at the funeral home on Friday, January 27, 2006 from 6:00 pm to 8:00 pm.Flowers are optional.
