John J. Fisher Anderson, SC John Joseph Fisher, age 74, passed away at AnMed Health Medical Center on Christmas Day, December 25, 2014. Born on July 28, 1940, in Boston MA, he was the son of the late William Joseph Fisher and the late Mary Norton Fisher. Mr. Fisher served his country in the US Navy and was a recipient of the Purple Heart. John is survived by his devoted companion of 36 years, Gloria Hynes of the residence; a son, Billy Fisher of Boston, MA; three daughters, Cheryl Hynes of Port Orange, FL and her husband Joseph of Boston, MA, Linda Fisher and Karen Fisher, Boston, MA; a step-daughter, Lorraine Bennett and her husband, Bob, of Anderson; two sisters, Barbara Maycroft and Kathy Black, both of Orlando, FL; also surviving are 8 grandchildren and 2 great-grandchildren. In addition to his parents, Mr. Fisher was preceded in death by brothers, William J. Paul, and Arthur Fisher, and a sister, Jean Manahan.
