John Phillip Moorhead, age 60, of Anderson, SC, passed away Saturday, December 9, 2023, at Linley Park Rehabilitation and Health Care Center.

Born February 1, 1963, in Anderson, SC, he was the son of the late Larry Patrick Moorhead, Sr. and Jean Floyd Moorhead. He was also preceded in death by his brother, Larry Patrick Moorhead, Jr. and grandmother, Willa Mae Moorhead.

John had attended Newberry College and in past years was the President of Carolina Mop Manufacturing Co. He enjoyed woodworking and making furniture. He had a sense of humor and was known to be funny, pleasant and loved his family. He fought a painful life for many years and is now reunited with his family and Savior in Heaven. He will be greatly missed.

He is survived by his daughter, Ferol Racine Moorhead; brother, William Andrew Moorhead; sister, Pamela Moorhead Ritter (William G.) and grandson, Arlen Manley Langford.

The memorial service will be held Friday, December 15, 2023 at 2:00 pm at The McDougald Funeral Home Chapel.
