NIXONNovember 24, 1922 - November 4, 2007ANDERSON, SCJohn Junior 'Nick' Nixon, age 84, of 304 Carole Avenue died on Sunday, November 4, 2007 at the AnMed Health Medical Center.Born in Anderson, SC on November 24, 1922 he was a son of the late William Amos Nixon and Janna Ruth Hulme Nixon. Mr. Nixon served in the United States Marine Corp and was a veteran of World War II. He was a retired Welder and was of the Baptist faith.Mr. Nixon is survived by his wife, Vivian Powell Nixon; and children: John Dennis Nixon, Stanley Michael Nixon, and Kononi Nixon; a stepson, Mike Powell; seven grandchildren, eleven great grandchildren, and three great-great grandchildren.The Funeral Service will be held at 2:30pm on Tuesday, November 6, 2007 in the Chapel of The McDougald Funeral Home, conducted by Reverend Bruce Evans.
