Peeples, age 58, husband of Harriet Vickery Peeples of 207 Camson Road, Anderson, SC, died Monday, February 27, 2006 in Anderson, SC.Born in Anderson, SC on December 15, 1947, Mr. Peeples was the son of Viola Burgess Lewis of Anderson, SC and the late James Peeples. He was a United States Army veteran serving during the Vietnam War and was the recipient of the Purple Heart. He was formerly employed with Michelin NA and was a member of Covenant Baptist Church.He is survived by his wife, Harriet Vickery Peeples of the home; sons, John Dwayne Peeples and his wife, Marie of Travelers Rest, SC and Jamie Garland Peeples and his wife, Alison of Anderson, SC; mother, Viola Burgess Lewis of Anderson, SC; sister, Sandra Perry of Liberty, SC and two grandchildren, Lydia and Rachel Peeples.In addition to his father, he was preceded in death by his step-father, Charles Lewis and a brother, Jimmy Peeples.The Funeral Service will be held on Thursday, March 2, 2006 at 3:30 pm in the Chapel of The McDougald Funeral Home officiated by the Reverends Steve Silvey and Sam Duncan. Serving as pallbearers will be Chad Myers, Chad Taylor, Brannon Bridges, Allen Harbert, Mike Perry and Brad Owensby.
