John Milford Roach, age 79, of Anderson, SC, passed away Sunday, April 24, 2022 at AnMed Health Medical Center. Born September 1, 1942, in Anderson, he was a son of the late George W. Roach and Ovie Atkinson Roach. He was married to the late Peggy J. Grant Roach. John retired from Pike Electric with over 20 years of employment with the company. He was an avid fan of the Atlanta Braves. He is survived by his sisters, Marion S. Roach and Altha J. Roach both of Anderson; brother, James T. Roach of Anderson; and nephew, Brian Crocker (Jamie) of Starr. In addition to his wife and parents, he was preceded in death by his brother, Charles R. Roach; and sisters, Jimmie Crocker and Mary L. Roach. A graveside service will be held Wednesday, April 27, 2022, at 11:00 am at Townville Baptist Church Cemetery. The family will receive friends immediately following the service. In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be made to St. Jude Children's Research Hospital, 501 St. Jude Place, Memphis, TN 38105, and Homeland Park Baptist Church, 3010 Abbeville Hwy., Anderson, SC 29624.
