JOHN LESTER ROSS, JR.ANDERSON, SCMr. John Lester Ross, Jr., 81, widower of Betty Jean Bryant Ross, died Wednesday, July 9, 2008 at the AnMed Health Medical Center.Born in Pelzer, he was the son of the late John Lester Ross, Sr., and Fannie Mae Jordan Ross. He was a member of Marshall Memorial United Methodist Church and retired from Owens Corning Fiberglas. He was preceded in death by a sister, Annie Grace and a brother, Dewey.He is survived by two sons, Danny Ross and his wife, Becky of Anderson and John M. Ross and his wife, Sandy of Anderson; special aunt, Sara Ross Akins of the home; five grandchildren, Benji Ross and his wife, April of Anderson; Sarah Ross Brown and her husband, Brandon of Okinawa, Japan; Brittany, Brandon, and Bryan Ross of Anderson; two sisters, Betty Ross Kelley of Anderson and Norma Jean 'Boots' Ross Graham of Calhoun Falls.The Funeral Service will be held on Friday July 11, 2008 at 4:00 pm in the Chapel of The McDougald Funeral Home conducted by the Reverend Faye Stephens.
