JOHN SZAKIN August 15, 1928 - February 28, 2013 ANDERSON, SC John Szakin, age 84, husband of Olga Kalisz Szakin, passed away on Thursday, February 28, 2013 at his residence. Born in Tarov, Poland, he was the son of the late Fedor Szakin and the late Uliana Savtchenko Szakin. He was a member of the Summer of God Slavic Evangelical Church. The Funeral Service will be held on Monday, March 4, 2013 at the Summer of God Slavic Evangelical Church at 12:00 PM. Interment will follow at New Silver Brook Cemetery.
