TAYLOR October 7, 1923 - July 30, 2008IVA, SCMr. John William Taylor, age 84, formerly of 393 Barksdale Road, Iva, SC, passed away on Wednesday, July 30, 2008 at Heardmont Nursing Home in Elberton, GA. Born in Iva, SC on October 7, 1923, Mr. Taylor was a son of the late Luther R. Taylor and Etta Elgin Taylor. He was a farmer and of the Holiness Faith.He was the last surviving member of his immediate family.A Graveside Service will be held on Friday, August 1, 2008 at 11:00 am at Iva City Cemetery conducted by the Reverend Joe Whisnant. The family will receive friends immediately following the graveside service.The McDougald Funeral Home is in charge of the arrangements.
