Witcher, age 93 of 328 Moultrie Square, Anderson, SC, widower of the late Annie Bowen Witcher, died Wednesday, February 14, 2007 at Blue Ridge Living Center in Easley, SC.Born in Madison County, GA on October 17, 1913, Mr. Witcher was a son of the late Brantley S. Witcher and Georgia Ann Barton Witcher. He was retired from Abney Mills and a member of Nell Townsend Presbyterian Church where he was honored as an Elder Emeritus.Survivors include a son, Kenneth J. Witcher and his wife, Catherine B. Witcher of Anderson; two grandchildren, Kristi W. Shirley and Jonathon B. Witcher; four great-grandchildren, Carson, Emma, Brantley and Hope. A brother, Thomas B. Witcher of Elberton, GA and sister, Evelyn W. Looney of Elberton, GA also survive. In addition to his wife and parents, he was preceded in death by a brother, Talmadge Witcher and two sisters, Inez W. Seymour and Estelle W. Carter.The Funeral Service will be held on Friday, February 16, 2007 at 2:00 pm in the Chapel of The McDougald Funeral Home officiated by the Reverend Jackie Arnold.
