Shearer and Anita Mayfield Shearer. He was a master electrician and plumber. He retired from the City of Greenville Housing Authority as maintenance supervisor and had formerly worked with the City of Anderson. He was a United States World War II Army veteran having served from 1940 to 1945.He was a member of Boulevard Baptist Church. Mr. Shearer is survived by his wife of 63 years, Marguerite Hand Shearer, and two brothers, William J. Shearer of North Carolina and Malory J. Shearer of Virginia.The Private Funeral Service will be held on Friday, April 27, 2007 at Oaklawn Memorial Gardens Mausoleum with the Reverend Dr. Johnny F. McKinney and Reverend Elwood Orr officiating.
