Johnny T. King, age 77, of Anderson, SC, passed away Monday, January 23, 2023, at his home. Born April 6, 1945, in Greensboro, GA, he was the son of the late Robin Denton Vandiver. He was also preceded in death by brothers, Pat and Sam Vandiver; and sister, Martha Vandiver. Johnny enjoyed working in his yard and gardens but his greatest joy was spending time with his beloved wife of 55 years, Nancy Dean King. Also surviving are his brothers, Lloyd, Paul, and Jimmy Vandiver; and sister, Judy Gibson. The family will receive friends Friday, January 27, 2023, from 11:00 -11:45 am at The McDougald Funeral Home. The funeral service will begin at 12:00 pm in the Chapel with Rev. Al Pierce officiating. Burial will follow at Forest Lawn Memorial Park.
