JOHNNY PARRISHMARCH 13, 1952 - OctoBER 4, 2007GRIFFIN, GAMr. Johnny Everett Parrish, age 55, of 701 Carver Road passed away on Thursday, October 4, 2007 at Spalding Regional Medical Center.Born in Clayton, NC on March 13, 1952, Mr. Parrish graduated North Carolina State University and was employed by Standard Textiles. He was a former resident of Anderson, South Carolina where he attended Sierra Baptist Church.Mr. Parrish is survived by his wife, Kathy Webb Parrish of the home; children: Christopher Parrish of Anderson, Leslie Parrish Shaw of Anderson, Johnathan Parrish of Anderson and Jeremy Ryan Parrish of the home; mother, Leona Pilkington Parrish of Clayton, NC; sisters, Patricia Durham of Clayton, NC and Hazel Cannon of Raleigh, NC; brothers, Billy Parrish of Clayton, NC and Larry Parrish of Durham, NC. Also surviving are two grandchildren, Logan & Bella Shaw.Mr. Parrish was preceded in death by his father, Everett Parrish and brothers, James Parrish and Gordon Parrish.The Funeral Service will be held at 2:00 pm on Sunday, October 7, 2007 in the Chapel of The McDougald Funeral Home with the Reverend Rex Simmons officiating.
