Anderson, SCJOHNNY RAY PARTAINJune 12, 1945 - February 11, 2012Mr. Johnny Ray Partain, Sr., age 66, of Anderson, SC, died at the Rainey Hospice House, Saturday, February 11, 2012. He was born in Anderson and was a son of the late Harold Partain and the late Jessie Bowen Partain. He was self-employed. Mr. Partain is survived by a son, Johnny Ray Partain, Jr. of Hartwell, GA and a daughter, Tonya Partain Jones of Franklin County, GA. Also, he leaves behind, a sister, Oleen Partain Bowen of Williamston, SC and a brother Olin D. Partain of Hartwell, GA; grandchildren, Ron Jones, Ryan Jones and Trinity Jones; and best friends, his loving dogs, Baby Girl and Pretty Girl. A funeral service will be held on Monday, February 13, 2012, at 2:00 PM in the Chapel of The McDougald Funeral Home officiated by the Reverend Curtis Lanier. Interment will follow at Forest Lawn Memorial Park.The family will receive friends, Sunday, February 12, from 6:00 pm until 8:00 pm at the funeral home and will be at Mr. Partain's residence, 2316 Standridge Road, Anderson, SC.
