Johnny Lee Scarborough, Sr., age 68, passed away on Saturday, November 12, 2016 at AnMed Health Medical Center. Born in Anderson, SC on December 3, 1947, he was the son of the late Paul G. Scarborough and the late Lillie M. Bass Scarborough. He proudly served his country in the United States Navy and retired from Michelin as a mechanical engineer. He is survived by his children, Johnny Lee Scarborough, Jr, of Iva, SC, Melissa Hofmeister and her husband J.C., of Pelzer, SC, and Jillian Scarborough, of Belton, SC; a sister, Ann Sutherland, of Anderson, SC; 13 grandchildren; 9 great-grandchildren; and his significant other, Pam Lollis, of Anderson, SC. In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by his daughter, Kathy Amos; three brothers, Lewis, Fred, and Doug Scarborough. The Funeral Service will be held on Thursday, November 17, 2016 at 2:00 p.m. in the Chapel of The McDougald Funeral Home with Reverend Sam Duncan officiating. Interment will follow at Forest Lawn Memorial Park.
