Jonathan "Jon" Edward Palmer, age 31, passed away on Monday, January 9, 2017. Born in Woking, Surrey England on April 23, 1985, he was the son of Elaine Finchum and her husband Jeremy Finchum and the late Edward John Palmer. He worked as a handy man and welder in the construction field as well as with Palmetto Moving Company. He was an avid gamesman and competitive billiards player. He attended NewSpring Church. In addition to his mother and step-father, he is survived by his fianc Stacy King; four children, Aiden, Ethan, Devon, and Jordan; three siblings, Jamie Wales, of Anderson, Sarah Wales, of Easley, and Ben Wales, of Anderson; three aunts, Carole Cox, of Bracknell, Berkshire, England, Jan Wills, of Cotford St. Luke, Summerset, England and Gail Lazenby, Badmin, Cornwell, England; and grandparents, Sylvia Bevis, of England and Tony and Jill Barber. The Funeral Service will be held in the Chapel of The McDougald Funeral Home on Saturday, January 14, 2017 at 11:00 a.m. with Reverend Chad Gamble officiating.
