Jonathan Earl Brock, age 58, of Anderson, SC, passed away Thursday, November 25, 2021, at AnMed Health Medical Center. Born October 16, 1963, in Anderson, SC, he is the son of Elaine Browning Lacobie and the late John Clay Brock. Jonathan earned his BA in education from the University of South Carolina and began his career as an English teacher in the Columbia, SC, area. He then moved to Alaska where he began his career as a flight attendant with Alaska Airlines. Later, he became a Northwest Airlines flight attendant, based out of Detroit. He also lived in England for two years. In addition to his mother, he is survived by his niece, Sommer Brock, and nephew, Tyler Brock, of Anderson, SC; best friends, Nancy Jo Thomason Cannon and Sandra Gentry Wiley. In addition to his father, he was preceded in death by his brother, Phillip Brock. The family will receive friends Sunday, November 28, 2021, from 3:00 p.m. until 5:00 p.m. at The McDougald Funeral Home.
