LYONSFebruary 26, 1918 - October 17, 2006ANDERSON, SCMrs. Jonny Allen Lyons, of 2505 East North Avenue, died Tuesday, October 17, 2006 at the Hospice House in Anderson, SC.Born in Greenville County, SC, Mrs. Lyons was a daughter of the late John C. Allen and Mamie Chandler Allen. She was twice married, first to the late Dr. Don Kitchen and then to the late John Joseph Lyons for twenty-eight years. She was a member of Central Presbyterian Church since 1955 and a Pink Lady at the AnMed Health Medical Center with twenty-five hundred hours of service. Mrs. Lyons was also a member of the Ladies Golf Association of the Anderson Country Club.Survivors include her son John Joseph Lyons, Jr. of Anderson; her daughter, Anne Lyons Brissey of Anderson; two sisters, Pauline Clinkscales of Honea Path, SC, and Marie Kelley of Greenville, SC; ten grandchildren, Gay Lyons Haley, James H. Lyons, Lee Lyons, Johnny Lyons III, Marty Lyons, Andrea Lyons Cannell, Michael Brissey, Andy Brissey, Ann Bradley Brissey, and Jay Brissey; eleven great-grandchildren, three great-great grandchildren and many loving nieces and nephews.The Funeral Service will be Friday, October 20, 2006 at Central Presbyterian Church at 2:30 pm officiated by the Reverend Dr. Martin L. Harkey, Jr. Interment will follow at the Old Silverbrook Cemetery. Mrs. Lyons will be placed into the church at 2:00 pm.The family will receive friends at The McDougald Funeral Home on Thursday, October 19, 2006 from 5:00 pm to 7:00 pm.Memorials may be made to Central Presbyterian Church, 1404 N.
