Campbell Veterans Nursing Home in Anderson.Born in Clarksburg, West VA on February 11, 1938, Mr. Addison was a son of the late Clarence Joseph Addison and Pearl Barker Addison. He was a United States Navy veteran, enlisting in 1955 and retiring in 1973, serving in the Vietnam War. Following his military career, he became a truck driver for J. B. Hunt Trucking Company. He was a member of Cornerstone Freewill Baptist Church in Ontario, Ohio. He is survived by his wife of 55 years, Rita Diffenbaugh Addison; sons, Michael Joseph Addison and his wife, Donna of Piedmont, SC and Major Tod Allen Addison and his wife, Teresa of Chesapeake, VA; four grandchildren, Nicholas J. Addison, Alexandre C. Addison, Michael T. Addison and Austin B. Addison. Also surviving is a sister, Rosemary Ward of Mansfield, Ohio. In addition to his parents, he was predeceased by a brother, John C. Addison.The Funeral Service will be held at M. J.
