IVA, SCJoseph Berry, age 75, husband of Barbara Bernstein Berry of Iva, SC, died Saturday, August 5, 2006, at his residence.Born in Ozark, Alabama, on April 12, 1931, he was a son of the late Henry Bascombe Berry and the late Bessie Johnson Berry. He retired from the US Air Force as Master Sergeant and was a veteran of the Vietnam and Korean Wars. After retiring from the Air Force, he also retired from Orange County, Florida. He loved fishing and was a resident of the Lake Secession Area.Survivors include his wife of the home; son, Donald Joseph Berry, Easley, SC; daughter, Pamela Jean Fair, Deltona, FL; sisters, Beatrice Witt, Betty Williamson, Mildred Allen, Penny Whitaker and Mary Berry; four grandchildren, Alyssa Berry, Jessica Berry, Heather and Daniel Fair. In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by a brother Selma Berry and a sister Kathleen Sanders.The Funeral Service will be held on Wednesday, August 9, 2006, at 1:00 PM in the Chapel of The McDougald Funeral Home with Rev. Jerry Gary officiating.
