JOSEPH CIOFFINovember 30, 1936 - June 22, 2009TOWNVILLE, SC ' Joseph Cioffi, 72, of 432 Conneross Road, passed away suddenly on Monday, June 22, 2009, at the Medical University of South Carolina, Charleston.Born in Jeannette, PA on November 30, 1936, he was the son of the late Gennaro and Rose Cioffi. Mr. Cioffi graduated from Penn State University and was a retired Industrial Engineer. Survivors include his wife of 50 years, Pat Sansonetti Cioffi; his children: Joe Cioffi of Columbia, Ann Cioffi of Anderson, Rose and Julio Pujols of Winder GA, Carmella Cioffi of Greenville; his grandchildren: Jessica Pujols of Winder, GA and Elizabeth Kisner of Greenville; his siblings: Vince Cioffi of Derry, PA and Carmella Persichetti of Jeannette, PA.A Memorial Service will be held at 4 pm on Sunday, June 28th, in the Chapel of The McDougald Funeral Home conducted by Father Hayden S. Vaverek. The family will receive friends at the residence from 2 pm until 8 pm on Saturday, June 27th, and following the service on Sunday.It is suggested that memorials be made to the American Diabetes Association, Upstate Chapter, 16 Brozzini Street 'A', Greenville, SC 29615-5339.
