Campbell Veterans Nursing Home.Born in Ware Shoals, SC on August 6, 1919, Mr. Cooper was a son of the late Clifton Cooper and Sara Elizabeth Payne Cooper. He was a United States Army World War II veteran and was of the Baptist Faith.Survivors include his children, Rosa Ann Hanvey, Joe Cooper and Lisa Addison, all of Anderson, SC; brothers, J. C. Cooper of Clinton, SC and Jesse Cooper of Laurens; sisters, Margaret Craine of Greenwood, SC and Geraldine Carithers of Anderson, SC. Seven grandchildren and thirteen great-grandchildren also survive.In addition to his parents, two sisters and one brother preceded him in death.A Graveside Service will be held on Friday, April 13, 2007 at 11:00 am at Forest Lawn Memorial Park officiated by the Reverend Bill Rigsby.
