IVA, SC'Joseph Milton McCoy, age 89 of 1108 East Front Street, Iva, SC, widower of Ollie Terry McCoy died Saturday, September 24, 2005 at Willow Creek Nursing Center in Iva, SC.Born on December 17, 1915 in Iva, SC, Mr. McCoy was a son of the late Carl McCoy and the late Lizzie Charping McCoy. He retired from Jackson Mill and Life of Virginia Insurance Company and was a member of Iva Wesleyan Church. After his retirement Mr. McCoy enjoyed making Eastern Blue Bird nesting boxes and selling them on his front lawn.Mr. McCoy is survived by his daughter and son-in-law, JoAnn and Billy T. Davis of Greenville, SC; a grandson, Tim Davis and his wife Leslie; a granddaughter, Angie Bross and her husband Jim; four great-grandchildren; and a brother, Wilfred McCoyIn addition to his parents Mr. McCoy was preceded in death in August, 2005 by his beloved wife of 70 years, Ollie Terry McCoy. He was also preceded in death by a brother, Fred McCoy.
