CREAMERANDERSON, SCMrs. Josephine 'Jo' Branyon Creamer, wife of John Creamer went to be with the Lord on April 15, 2008 at the Rainey Hospice House.Born in Anderson, SC, she was a daughter of the late Arthur M. Branyon and Emily McCurley Branyon. Mrs. Creamer retired from Gates & Chapman Firestone and had also worked for a number of years in the kindergarten at St. John's United Methodist Church. She was a member of Whitefield Baptist Church where she was active in the nursery and Sunday School class. Mrs. Creamer was also a member of the Woodmen of the World. She was a special lady who was good, kind, and an inspiration to all. She was a beloved wife and mother and joy to those who knew her. Her remarkable gift and finest attribute was to make other people feel special. She is survived by her husband, John Creamer; her son, Michael K. Creamer and his wife, Beth Creamer; her two grandchildren: Kelley and Leah ' whom she loved very much. Her granddaughters were her pride and joy. Mrs. Creamer also leaves behind one sister, Ollie Hiott and one brother, Malcolm 'Mac' Branyon.A Graveside Service will be held at 3:00 pm on Friday, April 18, 2008 at Forest Lawn Memorial Park conducted by Dr. Ron Fousek, Reverend Charles Strickland, and Reverend Jimmy Smith.The family will receive friends at The McDougald Funeral Home from 6:00 pm until 8:00 pm on Thursday, April 17, 2008.The family is at the home of Mr. & Mrs. Mac Branyon, 513 Eskew Circle, Anderson.In lieu of flowers, memorials may be made to the Building Fund of Whitefield Baptist Church, 207 Mitchell Road, Belton, South Carolina, 29627.A message of condolence may be sent to the family by visiting www.mcdougaldfuneralhome.com.The McDougald Funeral Home, Anderson.
