Joyce West Childs, age 88, of Anderson, SC, passed away Saturday, December 2, 2023, at The Garden House of Anderson.

Born August 12, 1935, in Atlanta, GA, she was the daughter of the late Russell Jackson West and Sarah Berry West. She was married to Nathan Woodward Childs until his death in 2019. She was also preceded in death by one son, Henry Woodward Childs.

Joyce was a member of St. John's United Methodist Church.

She is survived by two sons, Russell Paul Child of Anderson, SC, and Nathan West Childs of Washington, DC; and brother, Steve West of San Diego, CA.

A memorial service will be held Friday, December 22, 2023, at 3:00 pm at St. John's United Methodist Church with Rev. Kevin Cooley officiating.
