JOYCE DAVIS July 21, 1953 - February 21, 2013 ANDERSON, SC Joyce Marie Davis, age 59, went home to be with her Lord and Savior on Thursday, February 21, 2013. Born in Anderson, she was the daughter of the late Marshall Franks and the late Hazel Whitfield Franks. Joyce was a faithful member of Iva First Assembly of God. She enjoyed Sunday School and the ladies meetings and attended both as long as her health permitted. She is survived by her son, Jeffrey Davis of Trooper, PA; her daughter, Tonya Davis, of the home; her brothers, Sammy Franks and his wife Tammy and Mark Franks and his wife Barbara, all of Anderson; her sister, Teresa Franks, of Anderson; her father and mother-in-law, Alfred and Frances Davis; and her sister-in-law, Helen Davis. In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her husband, Tony Davis. The Funeral Service will be held on Sunday, February 24, 2013 at 2:00 pm at Iva First Assembly of God with Reverend Charlie Howell and Reverend Shane Duncan officiating. Interment will follow at Forest Lawn Memorial Park. The family will be at the home of her brother, Mark, 102 N. Prevost Street, Anderson, SC and will receive friends at The McDougald Funeral Home on Saturday, February 23, 2013 from 6:00 pm until 8:00 pm.
