Minnie Joyce Thrasher Glenn, age 82, of Pendleton, SC, passed away Tuesday, May 3, 2022, at her home. Born February 7, 1940, in Anderson County, she was the daughter of the late Clarence Noah Thrasher and Fannie Lawton Thrasher. She was married to Perry Ray "Chig" Glenn until his death in 2008. Joyce was retired from Equinox Mill. She is survived by her sons, Randy Glenn (Tracy) of Pendleton, Ricky Glenn (Karry) of Starr, Donnie Glenn of LaFrance, and Edward Glenn (Charlotte Parrott) of LaFrance; sister, Reba Blalock; 10 grandchildren, 18 great grandchildren, and 1 great-great grandchild. In addition to her husband and parents, she was preceded in death by her son, David Wayne Glenn; daughter, Marie Glenn; brothers, William, Robert, Harold, Travis and Billy Ray Thrasher; and sisters, Audrey Fuller, Wanda Thrasher, and Mary Thrasher. The family will receive friends Friday, May 6, 2022, from 6:00-8:00 pm at The McDougald Funeral Home. The funeral service will be held Saturday, May 7, 2022, at 10:00 am in the Chapel of The McDougald Funeral Home with Rev. Gary Stewart officiating. Burial will follow at Memory Gardens in Clemson. The family will be at the residence.
