Juanita Ethelyn Queen Anderson, age 80, of 503 Jeb Stuart Avenue, passed away on Tuesday, January 24, 2017, at AnMed Health Medical Center. Born on August 30, 1936, in Vinton, OH, she was the daughter of the late Steven and Esther Spires Queen. For over sixty years, she was the loving and devoted wife of the late Dallas Ward Anderson until his death in 2015. Mrs. Anderson was employed for several years at the Nature's Corner Florist. She was also a school bus driver employed by Anderson School District 3. Juanita was a member of Ruhamah United Methodist Church, Starr, SC. Survivors include her son, Michael W. Anderson and his wife, Becky of Anderson; three daughters, Cindy McIntosh and her husband Roger of Converse, TX, Katy Gandy and her husband, Nick, of Richmond, VA, and Kristina McClung and her husband Jamie of Fishersville, VA; four brothers, Steve, John, Sherwin and Michael Queen; three sisters, Carolyn Sandlin, Linda Eichenlaub, and Joyce Dean; also surviving are ten grandchildren and four great-great grandchildren. In addition to her parents and her husband, Dallas, Mrs. Anderson was preceded in death by a son, Jeffrey Anderson; a daughter, Lisa Anderson, and brothers, Lee and Edward Queen. A Graveside Service celebrating the life of Juanita Anderson will be held on Monday, January 30, 2017, at 1 p.m. at the Committal Shelter at M. J. "Dolly" Cooper Veteran's Cemetery, with Reverend Dr. Jack Couch officiating. The family will be at the residence and will receive friends following the service at M. J.
