Eaves Ashworth, age 72, wife of Bobby Ashworth of 201 Chadwick Road, Anderson, SC, died Sunday, August 26, 2007 at the AnMed Health Medical Center in Anderson.Born in Anderson County, SC on December 25, 1934, Mrs. Ashworth was the daughter of the late Gordon Eaves and Janie Whitten Eaves. She was a member of High Praises Church of God for nine years and was a former member of McDuffie Street Church of God for twenty years. She was president of the prayer chain, served in nursing home ministries for thirteen years and was licensed in evangelism. She was a homemaker. Survivors include her husband, of fifty-two years, Bobby Ashworth of the home; son, Dwaine Ashworth of Greenville; daughters, Patricia Brown, Cynthia Campbell and Andrea Jackson, all of Anderson; brother, Lawrence Eaves of Clover, SC; seven grandchildren, Shannon, Scott, Seth, Sharlee Ashworth, Candace Smiley, Allie Cathrine Jackson and Travis Campbell. Eleven great-grandchildren also survive. In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by two brothers, one sister, and one great-grandchild. The Funeral Service will be held on Wednesday, August 29, 2007 at 1:00 pm at High Praises Church of God with the Reverends Chris Sustar and Sam Duncan officiating.
