Juanita Scott Turner Jones, 92, of Anderson, SC, passed away, Wednesday, December 16, 2020, at Rainey Hospice House. Born July 14, 1928, in Iva, SC, she was the daughter of the late Asa Scott and Juanita McCullough Scott. Juanita was a homemaker and spent several years working with the Anderson County Council on Aging. She was a devoted member of Belton Church of God. Left to cherish her memory are her sons, Joey Lee Turner (Melody), Jeffrey Lamar Turner, Jackie Wade Turner; daughter, Jeannie Lynn Dwyer; 8 grandchildren and several great-grandchildren. In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her first husband of 40 years, James "Jim" Turner; second husband, James Jones; sons, James Douglas Turner and Johnny Ray Turner; and grandsons, Jimmy and Dwayne Turner. A graveside service will be held on Saturday, December 19, 2020, at 3:00 pm at Forest Lawn Memorial Park with Rev. Norman Black officiating. In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be made to Hospice of the Upstate, 1835 Rogers Rd., Anderson, SC 29621.
