SEARS April 3, 1926 - December 23, 2008 ANDERSON, SCMrs. Juanita Duncan Sears, age 82, formerly of 18 N. Hammett Street, wife of the late Charles W. Sears, Sr., passed away on Tuesday, December 23, 2008 at Ellenburg Nursing Center.Born in Anderson, SC on April 3, 1926, Mrs. Sears was a daughter of the late Sloan Maxwell Duncan and Maggie Ramsey Duncan. She retired from Orr-Lyons Mill and was the Site Director with the Y.M.C.A. ' After School Program.' She attended Orrville Pentecostal Holiness Church. Survivors include her sons, Billy Sears and his wife, Susan of Iva and Darwin Sears and his wife, Pam of Columbus, GA; sisters, Joan Ramsey, Loretta Pugh and Jan Robinson, all of Anderson; six grandchildren; thirteen great-grandchildren and eleven great-great-grandchildren.In addition to her husband and parents, she was predeceased by two daughters, Donna Charlene Sears and Delores Jean Vickery; brothers, J. B. Duncan and Edward Duncan; sisters, Lucille Duncan And Etrulia Duncan and a grandson, Donnie Ray Callaham.A Graveside Service will be held on Friday, December 26, 2008 at 3:00 pm at Old Silver Brook Cemetery officiated by the Reverend Eddie Duncan. The family will receive friends at The McDougald Funeral Home on Friday, December 26, 2008 from 1:30 pm to 2:30 pm.The family will be at the home of her sister, Loretta Pugh, 2603 McKinley Drive, Anderson, SC.Flowers are optional.
