Born in Greenville County, SC on May 1, 1933, Mrs. Vaughn was a daughter of the late Obie Davenport and Ruth Boyce Davenport. She is survived by her husband of 57 years, Jack C. Vaughn and was the loving mother of Jack C. Vaughn, Jr., and his wife, Pam of LaGrange, GA, Vickie Vaughn Burns and her husband, David of Anderson, SC, Dale Vaughn and his wife, Beth of Memphis, TN and Bryan Vaughn and his wife, Stacey of Fort Mill, SC; brothers, Buddy Davenport of Belton, SC and Louie Davenport of Tallahassee, FL; sister, Mary Martin of Belton, SC; ten grandchildren, Robert and John Burns, Laura Burns Blake, Sarah Britton, Blake and Clay Vaughn, Haynes and Wilkes Vaughn, Garrett and Kaitlyn Vaughn.In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by a sister, Sara Bellew. The Funeral Service will be held on Friday, August 22, 2008 at 3:00 pm in the Forest Lawn Memorial Park Mausoleum Chapel officiated by Allyson Helvie. Entombment will follow in the Mausoleum.The family will receive friends at The McDougald Funeral Home on Friday, August 22, 2008, from 1:30 pm to 2:30 pm.The family will be at the home of her daughter, Vickie Burns, 1106 Concord Road, Anderson, SC.Flowers are optional.
