Judith Smith Cox, age 76, of Pendleton, SC, passed away Tuesday, February 9, 2021 at Rainey Hospice House. Born July 21, 1944 in Oconee County, SC, she was the daughter of the late Claude Wells Smith and Bertha Mae Moody Smith. She was married for 53 years to Rev. Jimmy A. Cox until his death in 2018. Judith was a graduate of Rock Hill High School and served alongside her husband as a faithful wife. She is survived by her son, Trevor Aiken Cox (Crystal) of Pendleton, SC; daughters, Lori Davidson (Jimmie) of Los Angeles, CA, Lee Mischelle C. Snow of Walhalla, SC, Terri Lynn Goggins(Terry) of Palmdale, CA, and Jessica C. Turner (David) of Easley, SC; brother, Terry Smith; sisters, Vivian Edwards and Suzanne Cannon; and grandchildren, Sierra Conrad, Ashlyn Greer, Amy Davidson, Camren Anderson, Justin Anderson, Jerad Anderson, Bailey Turner, Lauren Goggins, Jae Aiken Cox, Katie Cox, Bryson Wyatt Turner, and Abbey Turner. Family and friends may pay their respects and sign the Guest Register on Tuesday, February 16, 2021 from 10:00 am to 5:00 pm at The McDougald Funeral Home. A graveside service will be held Wednesday, February 17, 2021 at 2:00 pm at Oconee Memorial Gardens, Seneca, SC, with Rev. Jimmie Davidson, Rev. Joe Moss, and Rev. Trevor Cox officiating.
