Judy Faye Lacey Sides, age 80, of Anderson, SC, passed away Thursday, January 19, 2023, at NHC Healthcare Anderson. Born November 2, 1942, in, Anderson, she was the daughter of the late Clyde E. Lacey and Faye Nation Lacey. She was also preceded in death by her first husband of 20 years, Hugh "Tom" Thomas Wilson; and son, Gregory Scott Wilson. Judy enjoyed a successful career with JP Stevens for over 30 years before retiring. She was a great care giver to others and loved her family dearly. The time she spent with them brought her so much joy. One of her favorite pastimes was reading. She was a devoted member of over 60 years of Tremont Church of God where she sang in the church choir and served on the prayer team. She is survived by her husband of 42 years, Kenneth A. Sides; son, Rick L. Wilson (Suzanne); stepson, Kevin Sides; stepdaughter, Cherlyn Holmes (John); sisters, Diana Lacey Bunch and Kim Lacey Barrett; grandchildren, Jason Wilson (Serena) and Taylor Wilson; great-grandchildren, Ashlyn Wilson, Braylon Wilson, and Cayden Wilson; step-grandchildren, Colby Holmes (Mallory) and Grant Holmes (Sami); and step great-grandchildren, Micah Holmes and Maggie Holmes. The family will receive friends Monday, January 23, 2023 from 11:00-11:45 am at The McDougald Funeral Home. The funeral service will begin at 12:00 pm in the Chapel with Rev. Eddie Allen, Rev. Lane Sargent, and Rev. Jason Wilson officiating. Burial will follow at Forest Lawn Memorial Park.
