Julia Entrekin Haynie, 91, of Anderson passed away on October 21, 2018, at her residence. Born in Starr, South Carolina on October 13, 1927, she was the daughter of the late Rupert Entrekin and Leola Hall Cheek. She was married to the late Leroy Haynie and was a member of Orrville Baptist Church. She is survived by her daughter, Joyce Ann Nelson (Billy); grandchildren, Kristy Smith (Dean), Autumn Eller (Dale), Kristina Cothran (Dewayne), and Brittany Nelson; and 9 great-grandchildren. In addition to her husband and parents, she was also predeceased by her daughter, Diane Mullinax and 6 brothers and sisters. The family will receive friends from 1:30-2:30 pm Wednesday, October 24, 2018 at The McDougald Funeral Home. The funeral service will follow in the chapel at 3:00 pm with Reverend Dr. Wendell Bannister officiating. Burial will follow in Forest Lawn Memorial Park.
