Mrs. Place worked at Village Fashions in Pendleton and Terry Furniture in Anderson. She was a member of Boulevard Baptist Church.Survivors include her husband, her daughters, Kimberly M. Black and her husband, William E. Black, Jr., Anderson, and Pamela M. Bevill and her husband, William B. Bevill, Appling, GA; two grandchildren, William 'Will' E. Black III and Johnathan 'John' M. Black; brother, Jerry D. Wright, San Antonio, TX; and special friends, Anna Wheeler, Atlanta, GA, and Geri Kirkley, Anderson, SC.The Funeral Service will be Sunday, April 25, 2010, at 2:00 PM, at Boulevard Baptist Church with Dr. Johnny McKinney officiating.
