ROLLINS January 24, 1912 - January 22, 2009IVA, SCMrs. Julia Ann McMahan Rollins, age 96 formerly of Oak Drive, wife of the late James Rollins, passed away on Thursday, January 22, 2009 at Willow Creek Living Center in Iva.Born in Iva, SC on January 24, 1912, Mrs. Rollins was a daughter of the late Walter McMahan and Jettie Haynie McMahan. She was a charter member of Trinity Bible Church in Iva and was a homemaker.Survivors include sons, Jerry Rollins and his wife, Nancy of Anderson, Jimmie McMahan of Iva; daughters, Linda Keown and her husband, Jimmy of Anderson and Roxie Moore and her husband, Melvin of Iva; brother, Wayne McMahan and his wife, Louise of Taylors; sister-in-law, Mary McMahan of Iva; nine grandchildren and several great-grandchildren.In addition to her husband and parents, she was predeceased by a son, Tony Rollins; brother, Edwin McMahan; step-mother, Frances McMahan and a great-granddaughter, Courtney Leigh McMahan and daughters-in-law, Margaret and Lucille McMahanThe Funeral Service will be held on Saturday, January 24, 2009 at 3:00 pm at Trinity Bible Church officiated by the Reverends Paul Young and Tom Smith. Serving as Pallbearers will be her grandsons. Interment will follow in Iva City Cemetery.The family will receive friends at The McDougald Funeral Home on Friday, January 23, 2009 from 6:00 pm to 8:00 pm. Mrs. Rollins will be placed in the church at 2:00 pm on Saturday. The family will be at their respective homes.Flowers are optional.
