JULIA I. TURNER ANDERSON, SC Julia Ilene Turner, age 58, of Anderson, passed away on Wednesday, October 30, 2013 at her residence. Born in Tracy, CA, on May 26, 1955, she was the daughter of David Eugene Turner and Othel Dorthine "Dot" Elam Turner. She resided in Modesto, CA during her childhood and attended the John F. Kennedy School. She moved to Anderson along with her family in 1989. She worked at McDonalds and most recently at Walgreens Distribution Center. Julia was a member of High Praises Church of God. In addition to her parents, she is survived by a brother, Stephen Turner and his wife Janet, of Anderson, SC; and two nephews, John Turner of Chattanooga, TN and Matthew Turner, of Charleston, SC. The Memorial Service to celebrate her life will be held at Hope Fellowship on Sunday, November 3, 2013 at 3:00 p.m. with Reverend Mark Gusque officiating. The family will gather for a time of visitation following the service. The family will be at the home of her brother, 115 Glory Lane, Anderson, SC 29626.
