L. Hanna High School and attended Francis Marion College. Julie was an aspiring actress and model in New York City. Following her career in New York, she relocated to Florida and later home to South Carolina. She attended NewSpring Community Church.Survivors include her parents: her mother, Marla Page Gardner and husband, Anthony of McDonough, GA; her father, Gary Stuart Bente and wife, Jane of Anderson, SC; her brothers: Terry Bente and wife, Leah of Anderson, SC, Craig Bente and wife, Stephanie of Charleston, SC; & Brian Cartee of Anderson, SC; her sister, Jennifer Cartee of Anderson, SC; niece, Parker Bente; nephews: Daniel Bente and Matthew Blackwell. Her maternal grandmother, Rosemary Page Gutensohn and husband, Walter of Gnadenhutten, OH also survives her. The Funeral Service will be held at 2 pm on Sunday, November 15, 2009, in the Chapel of The McDougald Funeral Home conducted by the Reverend Larry Cox.
