HUGHES November 8, 1930 - November 28, 2007 ANDERSON, SCMrs. Julia Fay Haynie Hughes, age 77, of 509 Northlake Drive, wife of the late Harold Hughes, died Wednesday, November 28, 2007 at the AnMed Health Medical Center.Born in Anderson, SC on November 8, 1930, Mrs. Hughes was a daughter of the late Buford Harrison Haynie and Ruth Jackson Haynie. She retired from Owens Corning Fiberglas with thirty-five years of service and was a member of the Owens Corning Retiree Ladies Club. Mrs. Hughes was also a member of New Prospect Baptist Church.Survivors include her daughter, Brenda M. Black; brothers, Buford H. Haynie, Jr., and his wife, Vivian and Max Haynie and his wife, Lisa; sister, Mildred Davis and her husband, Ernest all of Anderson; two grandchildren, Kelly N. Clayton and her husband, Timothy of Easley and J. Brooks Black of Anderson and one great-granddaughter, Ana Grace Clayton.The Funeral Service will be held on Friday, November 30, 2007 at 11:00 am in the Chapel of The McDougald Funeral Home with the Reverend Steve Silvey officiating.
