June Napier Nelms, 76, of Belton, SC, passed away Wednesday, August 5, 2020 at AnMed Health Medical Center. Born September 2, 1943 in Glasgow, Scotland, she was the daughter of the late Alexander and Nicola Napier. She was the widow of Bennie Lee Nelms. June was a seamstress and was retired from Blair Mills. She enjoyed cooking, especially for the holidays. She loved her family dearly, especially her grandchildren who gave her so much joy. She is survived by her son, John Gill; daughter, Denise Wortman; brothers, Alexander and Robert Napier; grandchildren, Jessica Bey, Andrea Teehan and James Wortman; and great-grandchildren, Callie Bey, T.J. Teehan and Blake Wortman. In addition to her husband and parents, she was predeceased by her brother, John Napier. Family and friends may pay their respects from 1:00-5:00 pm Sunday, August 9, 2020 at The McDougald Funeral Home. A graveside service will be held on Tuesday, August 11, 2020 at 2:00 pm at Forest Lawn Memorial Park with Mr. Grady Turner officiating.
