Myra June Tilson Osborne, age 75, of Anderson, SC, passed away Sunday, October 15, 2023, at the Rainey Hospice House.

Born May 11, 1948, in Greenville, SC, she was the daughter of the late Howard Joseph Tilson and Dorothy Fortune Tilson Few. She was also preceded in death by her first husband, Sidney E. Osborne and her second husband, Ricky Eugene Miles. She is the last surviving member of her immediate family.

June taught truck driving at Tri County Technical College for twenty years. Prior to teaching, she was a long-haul truck driver with her first husband, the late Sidney E. Osborne. She was a talented and creative lady who enjoyed sewing and flower arranging.

She is survived by a son, Joseph Edward Osborne (Angela) of Anderson; two grandchildren, Heather Leonard (Stephen) and Nik Osborne (Brittani); two great-grandchildren, Ruby Osborne and Sawyer Leonard; and special friends, Kathleen McKinley, Harrison Mullinax, and Carson Cole. She also leaves behind her beloved pet and companion, Sassy, a little four-pound chihuahua.

The family will receive friends Tuesday, October 17, 2023, from 12:00 pm – 1:30 pm at The McDougald Funeral Home. The funeral service will be held at 2:00 pm in the McDougald Funeral Home Chapel with the Rev. Allen McConnell officiating. Burial will follow at the New Silver Brook Cemetery.
