Katherine Wells Lewis Meredith, 96, of Anderson, passed away on April 9, 2016. Born in Townville, SC, she was the daughter of the late Silas R. and the late Edma Merett Wells. She was a loving mother, grandmother, and great-mother. Katherine enjoyed flowers and birds and was a member of Orrville Baptist Church. She was the last surviving member of her immediate family. She is survived by her children, Jimmy Ray Lewis and his wife Frankie, and Nancy Sullivan, all of Anderson and Barbara Fagg and her husband Henry, of Belton, SC; six grandchildren, 13 great-grandchildren; and 8 great-great grandchildren. In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her husband, James Luther Lewis; a brother, William Wells; and a sister, Rosalee Freeman. The Graveside Service will be held on Monday, April 11, 2016, at 1:00 at New Silver Brook Cemetery with Dr. Wendell Bannister officiating.
