Gunter, died Wednesday, May 21, 2008 at The Laurels of Salisbury in Salisbury, NC.Born in Anderson, SC on September 20, 1916, Mrs. Gunter was the daughter of the late James and Lola Gunter Gibson. She was employed with Abney Mills for over 40 years and was a member of Taylor Memorial Pentecostal Holiness Church.Survivors include her daughter, Barbara G. Pepper and her husband, Melvin of Salisbury, NC; five grandchildren and seven great-grandchildren.In addition to her husband and parents, she was preceded in death by a son, Collier M Gunter and three brothers, Wade, Willie and Jimmy Gibson.The Funeral Service will be held on Friday, May 23, 2008 at 3:30 pm in the Chapel of The McDougald Funeral Home officiated by Dr. Jack Couch.
