Kathleen C. Kelly, age 79, of Anderson, SC, passed away Thursday, May 4, 2023, at Rainey Hospice House. Born June 11, 1943, in Elizabeth, NJ, she was the daughter of the late Thomas H. Kelly and Agnes Marie Eckalitz Kelly. She was also preceded in death by her brother, Thomas M. Kelly; and sister-in-law, Jayne Cade Kelly. Throughout her life, Kathy was very involved in activities with Special Olympics Area 14. She was fascinated with Hawaii and loved talking about her family vacation there. She loved her family and friends dearly and she will be missed by them all. She was of the Catholic faith. She is survived by her niece, Kimberley Beebe and her husband Randy of Anderson, SC; and great nephew, Jesse Beebe of Anderson, SC. A funeral mass will be celebrated on Saturday, May 13, 2023 at 1:00 pm at St. Mary of the Angels Catholic Church with Rev. Father Jairo Calderon officiating. Entombment will follow at Forest Lawn Memorial Park Mausoleum. The family will receive friends immediately following the committal.
