Kathleen Ann Crone Philpot, age 78, of Anderson, SC, passed away Sunday, September 4, 2022, at Rainey Hospice House. Born February 10, 1944, in Dayton, OH, she was the daughter of the late Aaron David Crone, Sr. and Elizabeth Jean Thompson Crone. She was married to the late Ludlow Philpot. Kathleen loved to watch movies. She especially enjoyed John Wayne movies and "The Virginian" was her favorite. She treasured the time spent with her family. She is survived by her daughter, Leslie Philpot of Anderson, SC; grandson, Michael Aaron Philpot of Dayton, OH; and brothers, Aaron David Crone and Mike Crone both of Dayton, OH. The family is not accepting flowers and would request memorial contributions be made to St. Jude Children's Research Hospital, 501 St. Jude Place, Memphis, TN 38105.
