KATHRYN CARVER October 5, 1936 - July 18, 2012 ANDERSON, SC Kathryn Ann Acker Carver, age 75, of Anderson, passed away on July 18, 2012 at AnMed Health Medical Center. Born in Travelers Rest, she was a daughter of the late Charles Clinton Acker and the late Kathryn Bledsoe Acker. She graduated from Walhalla High School in 1954 and later attended Forrest Business School. She worked in the Deeds and Records Department at the Anderson County Courthouse for over 25 years. Kathryn was a member of the Anderson Women's Bowling Association. She enjoyed music and was an accomplished pianist. She was a member of North Anderson Baptist Church. She is survived by her sons, Al Carver and Chuck Carver and his wife Julie all of Anderson; a brother, Charles L. Acker of Tamassee, SC; a sister, Mabel A. Templeton of Greenwood; and 5 grandchildren, David, Katie, Zackery, Erika, and Erin Carver. The Funeral service to celebrate the life of Mrs. Carver will be held on Saturday, July 21, 2012 at 2:00 PM in the Chapel of The McDougald Funeral Home with Reverend Doug Saxon and Reverend Bill Davis officiating. Interment will follow at Old Silver Brook Cemetery. The family is at their respective homes and will receive friends at the funeral home on Friday, July 20, 2012 from 6:00 PM until 8:00 PM.
