KATHRYN TENCH June 28, 1931 - September 19, 2013 ANDERSON, SC Kathryn Mize Tench, age 82, of 1208 Gentry Drive, entered into her Heavenly Home on Thursday, September 19, 2013. Born in Oconee County, SC, she was the daughter of the late Henry Mize and Dorene Freeman Mize. She was a graduate of Girl's High School. Kathryn was a faithful member of Eureka Baptist Church where she attended the Prayer and Praise Sunday School Class. She is survived by her 2 sons, Gary P. Tench (Pamelia) of Belton and Stanley K. Tench (Susan) of Anderson; 2 daughters, Kathy Charleville (Vann) of Seneca, and Nancy Cleveland (Dean) of Anderson; 8 grandchildren, Jason Tench, Paul Tench (Erica), Barron Tench (Chesley), Bradan Tench (MiKayla), Brad Kennedy (Christina), Bethany Wiley (Sam), Kyle Cleveland (Nikki) and Kristin Cleveland; 9 great-grandchildren; and 2 brothers, Reverend Jerry Mize (Barbara) and Jack Mize. In addition to her parents, Kathryn was preceded in death by her loving and devoted husband of 63 years, Paul Tench; 2 grandchildren, Blake Tench and Brooke Kennedy; and a great-grandchild, Matthew Tench. The family will receive friends at Eureka Baptist Church from 1:30 PM until 2:30 PM on Saturday, September 21, 2013. The funeral service to celebrate and honor the life of Mrs. Kathryn Tench will follow at 3:00 PM with Reverend Dr. Ron Fousek and Reverend Jerry Mize officiating. Interment will follow at Forest Lawn Memorial Park. The family will be at the residence.
